Procurement opportunities will be advertised here on the NHS West Sussex website and on the Supply2Health website.

The aim of the service is to deliver a range of accessible, high quality, responsive, cost effective, confidential, integrated sexual health services to the population of West Sussex and to support the delivery of sexual health services in primary care and other community settings through the provision of professional training.

Innovation and efficiencies in integrated service provision for improved patient access will be sought from prospective providers of the service.

The services will cover all sexual health and termination services excluding vasectomy and female sterilisation. The provision of HIV treatment and drugs, whilst contained in the current specification, may be procured separately.

The event is not part of any prequalification or selection process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information gathering exercise offering an opportunity for potential providers to understand the extent of the services they may be able to provide.

This document is a draft service specification for information and feedback from providers, clinicians and others stakeholders to assist the development of the service.

It will not be finalised until such time as Invitations to Tender are invited.
